Donkeys live at Narrow Gate...
Narrow Gate is home to three miniature donkeys: Spirit, Zoe and Scarlet. Bill Spencer is especially fond of donkeys.

A former bull rider works at Narrow Gate...
Narrow Gate Staff Member Ty Homer used to be a professional bull rider. Ty is our property manager and teaches/oversees the young men during the Community phase.

The Narrow Gate property is...
122 acres in size. It contains two barns, a bed-and-breakfast-style lodge and lots of pasture land and wooded areas.

We grow our own blueberries...
Thanks to some generous help from Dayton United Methodist Church in Dayton, Ind., Narrow Gate has 100 blueberry bushes! The students help maintain the plants during their stay on the property and also enjoy their fruit.

Narrow Gate partners with The Gear Foundation...
During the Service phase, young men work a couple days each week at Our Thrift Store, a consignment store operated by The Gear Foundation, which employs individuals with special needs. Find out more at www.thegearfoundation.org.

A former fire fighter works at Narrow Gate...
Colin Smith, missions director and administrator for Grace School of Ministry, is a trained fire fighter and worked for the fire department in Abilene, Texas before coming to Narrow Gate.

Narrow Gate has gone GREEN...
Not only do the staff and students of Narrow Gate diligently recycle, we also grow our own vegetables in a kitchen garden.

Narrow Gate holds two annual fundraisers...
The Greatest Gift Breakfast is held in December at Richland Country Club. 2010 is the first year for Gather at the Gate, to be held May 29th on Narrow Gate's property. For more on the upcoming event: www.narrowgatefoundation.org/gatheratthegate

The directors live in the lodge full-time...
Bill and Stacy Spencer, executive directors, have made Narrow Gate's bed-and-breakfast-style lodge their home. Young men have the opportunity to get to know the directors intimately, especially once they move into the lodge at the end of their stay.

Narrow Gate operates a ministry school...
Grace School of Ministry runs out of the basement of the lodge. Graduates and other young men from the community enroll in the school in order to further their Biblical training and prepare for careers in ministry.

Narrow Gate partners with Helping Hands of Hickman County...
